APPLICATION PROCESS

Students aiming to pursue extended studies in Malaysia are required to secure a student visa. This visa is valid for a longer period compared to a standard tourist visa and enables multiple entries and exits throughout your stay.

Here is the list of documents you need to submit for your student visa application.

DOCUMENT CHECKLIST

A scanned copy of your passport is required

  • Age: Applicant must be between 18 and 45 years old.
  • Validity: Passport must be valid for at least 12 months from the expected date of entry into Malaysia.
  • Completeness: All pages, including blank ones, must be scanned.
  • Quality: The scan must be in full color.

Passport-sized Photograph is required

  • Dimensions: 35mm wide x 45mm tall.
  • Quality: Preferably taken by a professional, clear, and not cropped from another photo.
  • Color: Full color with a white background.
  • Additional Specifications: Must meet the detailed requirements set by EMGS.

Health Declaration Form

  • Download the template from EMGS.
  • The form must be thoroughly completed and signed by the student.

High School Certificate and Transcript with English Translation

  • A full-color scan is required.
  • Provide an English translation if the original certificate is in another language.

HOW TO APPLY

STEP 1

Visa Application Process

Begin by preparing and uploading your required documents along with the completed Student Application Form. We will send you an invoice for the visa application fee. Once paid, your application will be submitted to the Malaysian Immigration Department. The evaluation typically takes 4-6 weeks. If successful, you will receive a Visa Approval Letter (VAL).Approval Letter (VAL).

STEP 2

Apply for a Single Entry Visa (SEV)

After receiving your approval letter, you must travel to Malaysia for your medical examination and to complete the student visa process.

To do so, first apply for a Single Entry Visa (SEV) online at: https://malaysiavisa.imi.gov.my/evisa/evisa.jsp.

STEP 3

Medical Examination

Upon arrival in Malaysia, you must undergo a medical examination by an EMGS panel doctor within seven days. Our International Student Support officer will provide details on the day of your arrival.

STEP 4

Get Your Student Visa & Start Your Academic Journey

After your medical report is finalized, our International Student Support Officer will forward it with your passport to EMGS for endorsement. Once everything is processed, your passport will be returned with your Student Pass.

Congratulations! You’re now an official INTUITION student, ready to begin your educational experience.
